Get to Know Dr. Leon Banchik
Dr. Leon Banchik grew up in Southern California and received his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry from Boston University. He completed advanced dental training at the University of Nevada School of Medicine Dental General Practice Residency Program, and has been taking care of the Las Vegas community since 2003.
Dr. Banchik is highly trained in cutting edge dental technology; he is greatly experienced in a variety of dental procedures, including dental implants, cosmetic and general dentistry, Invisalign, “all on four” or teeth in a day, and many others.
Dr. Leon is an excellent, kind, and honest doctor that always ensures complete comfort of his patients. He loves practicing dentistry and treats all patients like family – with great care and compassion.

Get to Know Dr. Olya Banchik
Dr. Olya Banchik has been providing gentle, outstanding care to her patients for over 15 years. She grew up in Southern California, and is a graduate of the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry. She completed advanced dental training at the University of Nevada, School of Medicine, Dental General Practice Residency program.
Dr. Banchik is the co-founder and executive director of Smiles for Survivors, a non-profit foundation that assists breast cancer patients suffering from dental complications following cancer treatments. She has been awarded recognition for her expertise and great care of patients, and has been named “Best of the City”, “40 Under 40”, “Health Care Headliners”, “Healthcare Heroes”, and many others.
Dr. Olya Banchik’s greatest concern is the health, well being, and care of all patients. She always makes sure the patients get the best care possible, and is gentle, caring, and loved by all patients.

The Experience
What to Expect
When you first walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted by our comfortable environment and our friendly office staff. You’ll be invited to sit down and relax as you fill out any new patient forms prior to your appointment. Once those are complete and your hygienist is ready for you, we’ll invite you back into one of our operatories.
You’ll receive a cleaning, comprehensive exam, x-rays, and your doctor will sit down with you to discuss the results. If everything looks good, you’ll be able to schedule your next appointment in the front office. If anything needs extra attention, your doctor will explain the results and take time to address any questions or concerns you might have, and they’ll describe any further treatment recommendations.
What to Bring
Your time is valuable to us! In order to help make your visit more efficient, we ask that you bring the following items to your appointment:
- ID
- Insurance information
- Medical history
- List of medications (if applicable)

We support Magic of Science, a nonprofit that strives to inspire in-need children with a love for science through fun science experiments.
Toy Drives for Local Hospitals
We regularly hold toy drives for local hospitals in our area so that children suffering from health challenges can experience more fun and relaxation.
Mouth Guards for High School Sports Teams
We’re not just here to help fix dental issues! We’re also here to prevent them, and that mission extends to protecting the smiles of our local sports teams. To do this, we donate mouthguards to the high school sports teams in Waxhaw.

Our philosophy of care goes beyond the office walls. We believe that it’s our responsibility to care for our patients, both in and out of the operating chair, and one of the best ways to do this is through our community outreach programs. Whether we’re supporting Smiles for Survivors, toy drives for local hospitals, Magic of Science, or donating mouth guards to our local sports teams, we’re passionate about helping our community smile.
